Summer Internship Housing is available starting at 2:00pm on Monday, May 19, 2025 until 11:00am on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

CNU cannot accommodate any guests outside of this time period.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Be 18 years of age or older;
• Be enrolled at a college or university and provide enrollment verification;
• Participate in an internship located within 40 miles of Newport News, VA;
• Stay for a minimum of 15 nights within the available dates above;
• Provide proof of Internship Letter from grantor
• Pay $25 Application Fee.

WEEKLY HOUSING RATES FOR A PRIVATE BEDROOM IN A SHARED SUITE WITH 2-4 SUITE-MATES.

Applications received prior to March 1, 2025 – $315 plus 6% tax

Applications received after March 1, 2025 - $343 plus 6% tax

Applications received after May 1, 2025 - $343 plus 6% tax and a $100 Late Fee

Housing fees are per person. All Summer Interns will be assigned suite-mates who are also Internship Housing guests. Roommate assignments will be gender-specific. Please contact us at sched@cnu.edu to discuss any special accommodation requests. Intern rates are weekly rates from Sunday to Saturday, checking in or checking out mid-week will not result in prorated fees for the week.

• $25 application fee is non-refundable and can be made online with a credit card payment.
• Non-refundable payment in full due with signed Housing Contract at least 30 days prior to Check-In Date.
• Please note, all applicants will have suite-mates and share a bathroom.
• Parking Passes will cost each person $50.00.
• If damages or loss of access cards occur, the damage or loss costs will be billed within 30 days after the check-out date.

Interns will enjoy a private bedroom in a shared 2 or 4 person suite.  Residents in each suite will share a restroom (with a shower and toilet) and a furnished lounge area including a couch and two armchairs.

Each individual private bedroom includes:

• Single bed(s) with 36”x80” (Extra-Long) mattresses
• Study desk(s) with desk chair(s)
• Wardrobes and dressers
• Closet
• Small refrigerator/freezer with microwave
• Ethernet outlets - please bring your own ethernet cables
• Vanity sink
  

Residents in Warwick River Hall share the following amenities:

• Wi-fi available in the building
• Study rooms and lounges on each floor
• 2 Community kitchens on each floor
• Coin operated laundry rooms

• Vending machines on each floor
• Trash/recycle rooms on each floor
  

The attendants at the front desk can provide:

• Vacuum and luggage carts to check out
• Access to available cleaning supplies
• Navigation/directions around campus
• Information regarding eateries and take-out around campus
• Assistance with any maintenance concerns
• Extra toilet paper
